Want to become a mvmt volunteer? It's easy.
Complete a background check.
You can download the form here. You must pass this background screening in order to work with our students.
Learn your options.
Opportunities to serve are varied and include, but are not limited to: Sunday School teacher, event production and management, food service, media/tech, event security, group leaders, trip chaperones, clean-up crews, greeters, outreach team leaders, school campus ministry teams, mentors, decision assistants, and more.
Choose an area to serve.
You may already know an area where you want to serve, such as Sunday School, special event leadership, security at Collective, or another one of our many opportunities. If you DON'T know where you want to serve yet, contact Zack to talk about where you might find your best fit.
Train in your new area.
All volunteers must be trained to work with our students. At certain times during the year, this may be done in a large group setting. Other times, it may be a one-on-one appointment. You will be notified of a place and time for training once your background check has been completed.
The only thing worse than no volunteers is unreliable volunteers. Once you've chosen an area to serve, do so faithfully. The students and leadership of mvmt youth will be counting on you.
